We are called to represent God and his wisdom, guiding others into a relationship with him through Christ.
PRAYER
Thank you, God, for the stars which have over the ages been points of navigation for people. Thank you for calling us to shine as stars for the world today. Forgive me for allowing that call to play only a minor role in my life. Help me to take my calling seriously. I'm going to focus on being a bright star. Amen.

That life was displayed, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and we announce to you the life of God’s coming age, which was with the father and was displayed to us.

It is our glorious privilege to announce what God is up to through Christ.
PRAYER
God over all, thank you for allowing us to see what you're up to through Christ. I confess that I don't clearly display this good news in my life. Remove the distracting clutter so that your life-giving activity is evident to all who care to see. My life is going to be your display board. Amen.

OUR CHAMPION

Father of orphans,
champion of widows,
is God in his holy house.
God makes homes for the homeless,
leads prisoners to freedom...
MARK 1:32-34 (NTE)
When the sun went down and evening came, they brought to Jesus everyone who was ill, all who were demon-possessed. The whole town was gathered around the door. Jesus healed many people suffering from all kinds of diseases, and cast out many demons.
SUMMARY SENTENCE
God is the champion of the needy.
PRAYER
Merciful God, thank you for looking out for us. I confess that I allow the negativity I experience to have too much sway in my life. Help me to see how you are present and healing us of the ills which torment the world. I'm going to move forward knowing that you are my hero. Amen.

Your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

Rest in the knowledge that none of your needs escape God's attention.
PRAYER
Thank you, loving God, for attending to all our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Nothing escapes your attention. Forgive me for pushing myself and others as though we have to make everything happen. Help me to relax under the watchful eye of your care. I'm going to leave everything in your hands. Amen.
