I confess that I'm practiced at ignoring the symptoms of sin in my life. Continue to heal me so that I can be a healthy servant in your coming kingdom. Amen.

Thank you, Creator God, for placing me in this time and place. I admit that I often feel like a stranger and that I don't belong. But I'm pretty good at faking it. Give me at least enough wisdom so that I know to ask for directions. You've placed me here, surely you'll guide me through the chaos of these times. Amen.

While you are eager to save people from their shame, I confess that I'm too often indifferent to the pain of others. I'm way more concerned about the next exciting thing on my calendar. Rekindle your mercy in my life so that those around me might be renewed. Amen.
