If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.

PRAYER
God, you graciously share yourself with us – your knowledge, your wisdom, your presence – all at a level which we can handle. Yet, I don't prioritize what you share, instead preferring to make my own way. So, I am asking that you would help me set aside my autonomous approach to life and fill me with divine wisdom. I'm fully expecting to hear from you. Amen.

PRAYER
Thank you, God, for keeping your word and for sending your living Word into our world to secure salvation and renew your creation. Forgive me for reducing Jesus to a private good luck charm and salvation to my personal piety. Help me to see Jesus through your lenses. Help me to embrace him as the fulfillment of your agenda. I want my life to be about the mission of Jesus. Amen.

O Lord, thank you for providing a way out of being consumed with evil. Left to myself, I can dig a big hole and bury myself in the negative. Help me to stop digging. He has looked with favor on the low status of his servant...."

Praise the Lord! He chooses to work with the weak and marginalized.
PRAY
I'm grateful, God, that you have chosen to work with even me. I get discouraged by my lack of influence in the world. Put things back in perspective for me. I want to partner with you to help those who are also outsiders find salvation through Christ Jesus. Amen.
