Again, Lord, the scriptures talk of the blessings that you give. You are generous. Life for me isn't perfect but it is really good. You keep making things better. I, however, tend to focus on the difficulties rather than the blessings. Why is that? Sometimes I wonder if I don't actually enjoy playing the victim more than I enjoy all that you give me. That needs to change. Reprogram my heart and mind so that I am fully aware of your gifts. I want to know for myself that you are the awesome and generous Lord God. Amen.
