The Lord appeared to Solomon at Gibeon in a dream at night. God said, “Ask whatever you wish, and I’ll give it to you.”

(Solomon answer) Please give your servant a discerning mind in order to govern your people and to distinguish good from evil, because no one is able to govern this important people of yours without your help.” ~ 1 Kings 3:5b, 9a (CEB)

Warn those who will not work. Encourage those who are afraid. Help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:14b (ERV)

Lord, if I am going to be of any help to others I need your help. I am too foolish to lead. But I trust that with your wisdom I can be of assistance. I repent of the foolish things I do and I turn to you and your Word. Specifically, I will look for the wisdom that you have given to us through the scriptures. Amen.
