Lord, you have been at work long before I arrived. I am inclined to get caught up in the moment and forget too quickly the past. Help me to keep the big picture of time and generations fresh in my mind. Help me to remember and honor the faith of my ancestors. Help me to act with strong faith -- just like the early believers. I'm going to be like them because I remember. Amen.
