Lord, the good news is that you have invited us along on a journey. But that means that we have to walk with you. So often I try to walk on my own. Even when I'm more or less walking in the right direction that is not good enough. I need to stay close to you -- to not wander off the path -- to not let my mind drift to places it should not go. I love you, Lord, and I desire both your forgiveness and your guidance. I am planning to spend this day walking close to you -- listening to what you say and doing what you do. I am expecting that it will be very satisfying. Amen.
