You, Lord, are the ruler over the heavens and the earth -- as well as everything and everyone in between. My purpose, then, is to give you the honor and respect to which you are entitled. I admit, though, that this is hard to do when I think so much about the honor and respect that is due to me. When I think a lot about what is rightfully mine, that takes up all my energy. This is true even when it is RIGHTFULLY mine. Please save me from thinking so much about myself and my situation. I need to be free to celebrate and rejoice in your kingdom and rule. Amen.
