Gracious Father, pain and misery are the natural consequences of our stubborn sinfulness. We seem to be experts at making trouble for ourselves. And I am the chief troublemaker. But you are the chief healer. Through the sacrifice of Christ you deal with the pain by forgiving the sin behind it. And if that were not enough, you welcome us with open arms. We are totally messed-up and broken people but you still welcome us to your family table. You are so mind-boggling awesome! From now on I'm going to listen more closely to you. Amen.Challenging Words
