Lord, I shouldn't be so surprised, but I am -- every time that I read about your desire to reach out to all people in all nations. Your compassion is so wide -- while unfortunately, mine is so insular. Please give me a heart for all the people of the world. Show me ways that I can further extend your compassion to people from other islands, places, and groups. I desire that such global vision would become a part of who I am. I know it can happen because you are not only my Lord and Savior -- but you are the God of the nations. Amen.Challenging Word
