Lord, even when people are unfaithful you do not change. You are still caring and faithful. How, then, am I so worried about how I appear to others? How is it that I even fudge the truth sometimes because I'm worried that people might think I'm too religious? Like Peter I cry over my unfaithfulness and I come to you trusting in your mercy. I don't deserve to be your friend anymore. But you're still friendly with me. You are amazingly kind. I'm going to let that fact define my day. Amen.Challenging Words
