Thank you, Lord Jesus, for taking on my sin. Thank you for crucifying it on the cross so that it is in fact dead. Because of you sin has no power. Sometimes I live as though sin still had power. And for that I am truly sorry. I need to receive your forgiveness and get with the new reality. Please help me to live according to the new sin-free system that you have established through the cross and resurrection. I am eternally grateful. Amen.
