Lord, why do you work so hard to remind me that I shouldn't love money? I don't really have any money to love. But even if I did have money, I'd spend it wisely on good things. And I'd be generous with it. And I wouldn't love it. And... Perhaps, the very fact that I've dreamed so much about money I don't have, means that I'm in love with the idea of money. If I've given so much energy to what I don't have, I wonder how much of my energy would be given to money, if I did have it. Yes, a little extra money might make my life easier. But the promise of your presence clears and eases my mind. For me that is enough. You are enough. Amen.Challenging Words
