Support

You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. ~ 2 Samuel 22:37 (NLT)

As Jesus continued on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at a kiosk for collecting taxes. He said to him, “Follow me,” and he got up and followed him. ~ Matthew 9:9b (CEB)
Lord Jesus, you not only call people to follow you but you also clear the way so they can do so. It's not necessarily easy but it is doable with your support. Thank you for calling me to follow you and for helping me to do so. I am not always a faithful follower. I easily wander off the prepared path. But you follow me to lead me back onto the pathway. I appreciate that and will try to walk closely with you. Keep me aware of your guiding presence. Amen.
