God gives peace, and he raised our Lord Jesus Christ from death. Now Jesus is like a Great Shepherd whose blood was used to make God’s eternal agreement with his flock. Glory to you, Lord Jesus. All matters of life and death are ultimately in your hands. Forgive me when I act like everything is my responsibility. Forgive me when I worry because I'm not good enough. I am eager to live out the righteousness and justice that you established when you died and rose from the dead. Please, help me to do that which pleases you.
