Lord, you are victorious! You have whipped the devil -- rescuing us from certain death. Keep me mindful of the victory so that I don't slip back into the old ways. I need you to help me become all about life. I'm not going to give the devil the time of day. He's not even worth complaining about. I'm going to pour all my energy into the life that you have secured -- leaving the old behind. Amen.
