Lord, we work so hard to acquire power and control. We are so busy trying to become the greatest. Sometimes we end up fighting just to prove that we're the most important people. But, Lord, if I could redirect all that energy into serving you, I'd be less tired and your kingdom would be further along. Please remind me to remember this every time I'm tempted to posture for position and respect. Amen.
