Lord, the idea that we need to work for ourselves or our families has been planted deep into our lives. But you have called us to do something different. And different is often hard. But really, you are the only one who is worth serving. The things we do for ourselves and our families don't usually turn out right. But the things we do for you always get turned into something of value for you -- and others. Please give me the energy and enthusiasm to serve you -- and you alone. Amen.
