Give thanks to the Lord because he is good,

Gracious Father, thank you for your goodness -- your kindness -- your faithfulness. There is no end to it all. Thank you, too, for allowing me to represent you. I confess that my words and actions do not consistently represent you well. Sometimes I really mess up. Often times I do so in smaller, less-obvious, but just as bad ways. Yet you refuse to fire me. And that gives me even more cause to thank you. Amen.
