Waiting

Lord, I spend so much of my life waiting. It seems like a waste of my time. But you must see some benefit in having us wait -- or you wouldn't take so much time in getting things done. Maybe forming us into patient people is as important as what we're waiting for. Maybe it's even a part of what we're waiting for. Help me to not only learn patience but to enjoy being patient. For when I am patient I am participating in your character and your plan. Waiting is good for me. Amen.
