Asking

Find your delight in the Lord. Then he will give you everything your heart really wants. ~ Psalm 37:4 (NIRV)

So I tell you, when you pray for something, believe that you have already received it. Then it will be yours. ~ Mark 11:24 (NIRV)

Lord, you are the joy of my life. 

THANKS: I appreciate that you are concerned about all my needs. I can take all of my needs to you. 

REGRET: Of course, I don't always do that. I'm so lame that I forget to do the very thing that gives me confidence and joy. And often when I do ask you for things, they don't come out of the context of my relationship with you. They are often just stupid things I want. Sometimes they're things that it's best that you don't give me. 

INTERCESSION: So, please give me wisdom to ask you for only things that are consistent with your will. Then give me the confidence to act as though it is already a reality. 

PURPOSE: I'm going to move forward with this kind of faith. I'm going to be bold. But most of all, I'm going to enjoy your company.
