Powerful God,
THANKS: Thank you for caring so much that you make things right for the humble people -- the people of little means -- those who currently have very little power. As far as I'm concerned, it can't happen soon enough.
REGRETS: Sometimes I'm impatient and I try to act all powerful. I'm good at faking it until I figure that I'll make it. But that is not the way you operate and I'm going to find myself in a bad spot if I continue this way.
INTERCESSION: Help me to humble myself -- to wait for you to lift me up at the right time. Give me patience to live with this yet-to-be-fulfilled promise.
PURPOSE: I'm going to quit worrying about my position -- my status -- my honor -- my power. When someone challenges who I am, I'm going to leave that matter in your hands.
In the name of Jesus, who calms the anxious and raises the humble, Amen.
