Strength and weakness

The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble. ~ Psalm 9:9 (NIRV)

Therefore, I’m all right with weaknesses, insults, disasters, harassments, and stressful situations for the sake of Christ, because when I’m weak, then I’m strong. ~ 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NIRV)
Lord,
THANKS: Thank you for caring so much about weak and broken people. Your approach to life is definitely different.
REGRET: It's embarrassing that my concern for those who are weak is so shallow. And frankly, I don't always turn to you when I need a safe place. (I wonder if there is a relationship between my shallowness and my tendency to try and endure all the storms in life on my own?)
INTERCESSION:  Help me to relax and trust that you are on duty.
PURPOSE: I'm going to quit trying to pretend that I'm strong on my own -- and thus I'm going to enjoy your strength.
Amen.
