Righteous gardening

The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere. ~ Isaiah 61:11 (NLT)

The one who supplies seed for planting and bread for eating will supply and multiply your seed and will increase your crop, which is righteousness. ~ 2 Corinthians 9:10 (CEB)

Sovereign Lord,

THANKS: Thank you for sending righteousness into the world in the form of Jesus. He is the crop that feeds us and changes us into just and righteous people.

REGRETS: Of course, I'm not all that righteous. Sometimes I don't really care about the right things. But then I remember that Jesus the righteous one is living in me.

INTERCESSIONS: Help me to live up to his presence. Multiply your seed and increase your crops through my life.

PURPOSE: I'm going to be more attentive to issues related to justice and righteousness.
