Hero

... I go to you for safety. I will find safety in the shadow of your wings. There I will stay until the danger is gone. ~ Psalm 57:1b (NIRV)

On the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were together. They had locked the doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Jesus came in and stood among them. He said, “May peace be with you!” ~ John 20:19
Lord, thank you for being my hero. Even when I am the most afraid I know that I can find peace and safety with you. You even show up before I know that I should request your intervention. Help me to be sensitive to your presence and eager to share your peace with others. Amen.
