God is faithful

He hasn’t neglected any part of the good promise he made through his servant Moses. ~ 1 Kings 8:56b (CEB)

God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NLT)
God, you are faithful,

THANKS: Thank you for keeping your word.

REGRETS: Other people let me down. I let other people down. I let myself down. I even let you down. Sorry.

 INTERCESSION: Help me to be more aware and trusting of your faithfulness.

PURPOSE: I'm not going to let the way that people behave define the amount of trust that I put in you. You are uniquely faithful.

The Daily Texts have been published by the Moravian Church since 1731. In 2015 I started posting these Bible verses for my spiritual formation students at Pacific Islands University. In the process of responding to the verses, I found the rhythm of looking for a common thread and writing a prayer based on that key idea to be helpful for my own soul.
