Lord, thank you for the encouragement. I don't recall ever being terrified but sometimes I am afraid. Fear comes from my lack of faith. And it gets in the way of faith. So, please help me identify and conquer my fears so that I can compete in the fight. I refuse to be afraid today. I pray in the name of Jesus, the champion who competed in the good fight of faith as no other -- and won! Amen.
