God, you always seem to side with the people on the margins -- the "have-nots" -- the poor -- the people that everyone else despises. That's good for me because I'm not exactly the best person. Although, sometimes I think more of myself than I should. As the life of Christ grows in me, help me to adjust my thinking about others and myself. I want my thinking and actions to be in line with your thinking and actions. Amen.
