God’s love and kindness
will shine upon us
like the sun that rises
in the sky.
On us who live
in the dark shadow

this light will shine
to guide us
into a life of peace.

God guides us through the dark times and back into the light.
PRAYER
God, I give you all the credit for leading me through the dark times in my life. Yet, while I recognize what you've done and how you operate, I still experience worry. I confess my anxiousness and turn my worries over to you. I'm going to trust that you'll continue to guide your people -- including me -- through the dark times and into a life of peace. I pray in the name of Christ Jesus, the Prince of Peace and my Savior. Amen.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
