God has given each of us responsibilities to further his agenda.
PRAYER
Generous God, thank you for giving us responsibilities -- for allowing us to participate in your work. I confess that I am at times irresponsible and indifferent toward you and your creation. Renew my vision for your work. I'm not going to feel guilty over the past but am going to rely on your grace as I step forward into the future. Amen.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
