King over kings, Lord over lords, Christ Jesus, thank you for the promise of good things to come when your kingdom is fully established. I confess that I don't always take your promises seriously enough, I've spent my life setting up my own little kingdom over which I am sovereign. And I enjoy being in charge. Help me to let go of all that so that I can focus on realigning everything in my life according to the ways of your coming kingdom. I'm going to make it all about you. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
