REMEMBERING

I remember those days long ago. God, I can't stop thinking about all the great things you have done.

Keep in mind that God remembers and is true to his word.

PRAYER
Eternal God, thank you for staying true to your word -- for being faithful as generations come and go. I admit that my perspective is short and that I want quick solutions to every problem. Forgive my impatience and my lack of memory. Help me to see again that you are working on things which transcend my time here and that you are working out solutions that go beyond my perspective. I'm going to remember what you've already done and trust in your faithfulness and mercy. Amen.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
