ISAIAH 58:11 (NLT)
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring.
JOHN 4:14 (NLT)
Those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
SUMMARY SENTENCE
Jesus is the ever-flowing spring that keeps us eternally hydrated.
PRAYER
Loving Creator, in baptism with water you claim me as your own. When I forget this eternal spring, cool, clear water on my face can be my reminder. Thank you for water so full of life that earth bursts with color and variety. Help me share your delicious free gift with all who thirst. Amen. (Daily Texts, Ground Up Grace edition)
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name; your Kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
