FLOURISHING

HOSEA 14:5 (CEV)
God says, "I will be like the dew—then you will blossom like lilies
and have roots like a tree."

JOHN 15:5 (CEV)
I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me.

We flourish when we're connected to God through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER
Gardener God, thank you for nourishing our lives. Forgive me for living a life only slightly attached to you. It's just so hard to be fruitful when I'm all over the place trying to draw energy from every new thing that comes along. Strengthen the connection between us. Help me to settle down and pull your sap into my life. Because of Christ, I'm going to live a fruitful life. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
