THANKFUL

GENESIS 35:3 (NLT)
Jacob said, "We are now going to Bethel, where I will build an altar to the God who answered my prayers when I was in distress. He has been with me wherever I have gone."

EPHESIANS 5:20 (ABP)
Keep on making music for God the Father, music which expresses gratitude for everything, music which resonates with Christ Jesus.

SUMMARY SENTENCE
Keep on thanking God for what he has done and is doing for you.

PRAYER
Thank you, God, for all that you've done for me. I am especially grateful that you came into the world through Christ Jesus to secure forgiveness and new life through his death and resurrection. You are the best! Forgive me for allowing the cares of life to drown out my gratitude for all you're doing. Help me to write a new song of thanksgiving today, literally or figuratively speaking. I'm going to continue to sing out my gratitude. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
