There will be heard once more the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to the Lord. They will sing,
‘Give thanks to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,
for the Lord is good.
His faithful love endures forever!’

PRAYER
Gracious God, I thank you for the gift of salvation which comes to us through Christ Jesus. Help me to sing of your unending kindness, even though my life is slightly off-key a good deal of the time. Rather than dwell on my sins and faults I'm going to continue to trust in your mercy and kindness. I want my life to be a musical offering to you. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
