Jesus, I acknowledge that all power in heaven, earth, and everywhere between, belongs to you. I'm in awe that you have chosen me to be among your friends. Forgive me for kissing up to the powerbrokers of the world. They don't have your authority, yet I pay too much attention to them. Free me from their influence. I want to know what it's like to live with you as my primary authority. Amen.
