Gracious God, thank you for your commitment to forgivness—a commiment so great that you'd send Jesus to take our sin to the cross—exchanging it for his righteousness. That's forgivness! I regret that much of the time I'm pretty casual about my need for forgiveness. Make me aware! I want to live in the freedom that comes with awareness of my forgiveness—freedom to live into the righteousness that Christ has shared. Amen.
