When you have the story of God's faithfulness through Jesus inside you, you can't help but tell it.
DAILY FODDER
Telling definitely involves words but it's more telling if words are backed up with action. There is a saying attributed to St Francis which, even though there is no evidence he actually said it, rings true. "Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words."
PRAYER
Risen Savior, thank you for partnering with us to bring your good news to the world. Forgive us for being so self-consumed that we worry over our ability to effectively share your story. Unleash your Spirit in our situations so that we might naturally and confidently tell your story, backed up by miracles appropriate for the moment. I’ll tell people young and old that they can trust you. Amen.
Our Father in Heaven,
we hold your name in the highest regard.
Please come and establish your reign here on earth
so that everything that happens here will align
with what is happening in heaven.
and we’ll forgive those who have wronged us.
Shield us from the trials and temptations that come our way.
