One God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we praise you for continuing to work among us -- and including us in what you are doing. I can be a bit of a wimp when it comes to talking about my faith. Pour out your grace on me so that I might bear powerful testimony to the resurrection. I'm going to turn all the honor over to you. Amen.

Christ is building you into a place where God lives through the Spirit.

What God builds is solid.
PRAYER
We are grateful, Christ Jesus, that you are expanding your kingdom -- building in a solid way. So much of what we encounter in life is flimsy -- even much of what I embrace. Help me to raise the bar for what is acceptable. I want to be a part of the solid future that you are building through the work of your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Wait patiently for the Lord to show you what he's doing.
PRAYER
Thank you, God, for turning on the light when we most need to see. I admit that I get discouraged by the darkness around me and even in my own life. I'm in need of your light right now. I need to see what's really happening so that I can step forward with confidence that you are remaking the world into a righteous realm. I'm going to wait patiently for the light. Amen.
