Harvest

When you plant, you always say, ‘Four more months to wait before we gather the grain.’ But I tell you, open your eyes, and look at the fields. They are ready for harvesting now. ~ John 4:34-35 (ERV)

Creator God, you have planted a crop and now it is ready for harvest. I confess, though, that I'm too busy tending to my own business to join in your harvest. That is a shame and I am trying to repent of that. Give me the eyes to see the harvest around me so that I can rejoice with you. I expect to see ripe fruit today. That's exciting! Amen.
