Protection

We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. ~ 1 John 5:18 (NLT)

God, you protect your people. And there is a lot we need protecting from -- including ourselves. I am my own worst enemy. I too often give evil a foothold in my life. But I know that I can't continue to do that and still live as your child. So, I hereby turn from all that is contrary to you and your ways. I pray that you would protect me from all evil influences and powers. I am going to move forward today confident of your protection. Amen.
