Lord, it seems that this task you have assigned to us is dangerous sometimes. The evil powers were even after the baby Jesus. I know that I can't get it all done without your approval and direction. I confess, though, that I easily miss both your approval and your direction. I've got so many ideas about how to get things done that I don't even bother to look your direction. That is a big mistake. And it needs to be corrected. Do whatever it takes to keep my focus on you. I want your blessing and your guidance so that I can do what you expect of me. I'm going to be listening for your voice today. Amen.
