Give thanks

Give thanks in every situation because this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (CEB)

Lord, I confess that I tend to forget about you when things are going well. And I tend to get annoyed with you when things are not going well. But the reality is that you are a constant. Your love and care are with me regardless of the circumstances. So if things are going well, I will thank you for your love and care -- that which has brought me success. If things are not going well, I will thank you for your love and care -- that which has sustained me through the tough times. You deserve to be recognized in every situation. Amen.
