Lord God, you alone are worthy of recognition and honor. Sometimes I get caught up in trying to get recognition for myself. I want to prove that I'm one of your favorite people. But that never seems to work out. So from now on I'm going to take the humble path. That's a lot better than having you humble me later. I need to get started with the humility now. And I do that by honoring you through my words and my actions. Lord God, you alone are worthy of recognition and honor. Amen.
