Father God, you are outrageously gracious. You reach out to people who do not deserve a hand. I have bad thoughts and I am not as kind as people think I am. I'm not such a good person. But you run out to welcome me into your household anyway. I'm going to worry less about how bad I am, and pour all my energy into responding to your grace. Amen.
