Welcoming

When a foreigner lives with you in your land, don’t take advantage of him. Treat the foreigner the same as a native. ~ Leviticus 19:33 (MSG)

So welcome each other, in the same way that Christ also welcomed you, for God’s glory. ~ Romans 15:7 (CEB)

Lord, you're so welcoming that you can't turn it off. It's so much a part of who you are that you even foreigners are treated as though they are family. And that's good for me because I am a foreigner. Help me to have that same attitude toward the foreigners in my life. Save me from fear of "other" and let me be as Christ to all. Amen.
