Lord God,
THANKS: I'm grateful for the structure you provide for the world. While the creation wants to unravel you hold it together. There is no other power in the universe who can do that.
REGRETS: I'm sorry that I'm easily distracted by problems. I'm too quick to rush to solutions -- solutions that are not always solid.
INTERCESSION: Help me to build on the solid foundation of your word. You and your message are completely trustworthy -- and more powerful than any spirit or any army.
PURPOSE: I'm going to build my house on the Rock!

DAILY TEXTS
The Daily Texts have been published by the Moravian Church since 1731. In 2015 I started posting these Bible verses for my spiritual formation students at Pacific Islands University. In the process of responding to the verses, I found the rhythm of looking for a common thread and writing a prayer based on that key idea to be helpful for my own soul. The prayers are more or less modeled on the TRIP method, which is what I ask my students to do in their journaling. ~ Brad Boydston
