Lord, there are some times where there is more trouble than other times. Thank you for protecting me in both the calm and troubling times. I too quickly grumble about the trouble that comes my way. And my grumbling distracts me from seeing the way that you care for me. Help me to not worry so much about sickness and chaos in the world. You are keeping me safe -- and close to you. Amen.
