Don't ever back down from being gentle in how you deal with people.

PRAYER
Kind and merciful God, you are worthy of our total attention -- of every song -- of every note that we sing. Yet, I confess that even when I sing your song I'm often a bit off-key and that I don't get the dynamics quite right. It all comes out loud and harsh. Show me how to live with total gentleness. I want my life to reflect the way that you do things. Amen.
